Article says if you just count the live golf portion, and eliminate the rain delay, Zurich Classic ratings were up 24%

That’s great, it’s still in the bottom 3 of tour events watched. It’s a bottom feeder tour event with one of the worst fields on tour despite a plum spot on the calendar. It would be a better event if it moved to a better market.

I assume everyone is pulling for Fleetwood at the FedEx

Yes. He is on my team this week.

Tommy about to bogey the easiest hole to lose this. Wow

He made par on the easiest hole to likely lose. Pitching it off the green was peak Tommy. I’m done getting emotionally invested on hoping this guy wins
He is prime fricked now with his draw from the right side of fairway to a tucked right pin
ETA: yep. fricking hell

Fleetwood has no idea how to close. It’s so painful to watch
Posted on 8/10/25 at 4:46 pm to lsupride87
That was the worst putt a pro has ever hit. It is beyond sickening to try and watch

I hope he can just stop caring and find freeness eventually. He is so nice but man it’s just so bad

Fleetwood is going to need to post a number and have the leader choke to win a tournament. When he has a chance and the lead himself he cannot play golf. You can see it all over his face too everyone he’s in position

I mean wow, just wow. Fleetwood is absolutely cursed
Posted on 8/10/25 at 4:50 pm to DarkDrifter
He’s not cursed. He’s just mentally weak. He keeps hitting terrible shots and putts. Not like he’s caught bad breaks

Meanwhile…Rose may close with 5 straight birdies to win the golf tournament. Tale of two Brits

I guess so. Just doesn’t make sense considering he plays some good golf. Wonder if he’s ever tried a sports psychologist ..

How did both of those putts miss

Considering it was the same exact putt he just had who knows. Golf is a cruel arse game

He had a 2 shot lead from the middle of the fairway 220 yards out on a par 5 that’s one of the easiest holes on the course. Chance to close out the golf tournament with birdie. He then proceeds to airmail the green, hit his third through the green, had a bad putt from in front of the green, and barely holed his par putt. Then on 17, he pushed his drive right and blocked himself from the hole on his approach. He tried to hit a cut, but it doesn’t cut at all and he misses the green. He then hits a very average chip and ledges himself a long par putt. He decels badly and doesn’t even come close to making the par putt. Then he hits it into a bunker off the tee on 18 and airmails the green again on his approach. It’s 100% mental. Everything he did well all week completely left him on the last 3 holes.
