Does anyone have as much of a watershed “I’m not the main character” moment like Rahm

That dude clearly went thinking “when I leave it will all crumble at the PGA and they will be forced to combine”

Yikes

Losing Brooks and P Reed is really going to hurt the LIV field rating if they get added to the OWGR.

Who is left at LIV that brings audiences (not that P reed really does that) and isn't too old to be much of a factor anymore? Bryson and Rahm, maybe Cam Smith

They didn’t have audiences with those guys…..

LIV is crazy for not just completely punting on America. Go full global only.

Cam Smith has completely lost it. He's terrible.

They have the Rae's Creek Pisser and a guy who turned down a Masters invite

Bryson and Rahm are carrying the league. Most golf people will tell you Rahm regrets the move, but his contract is pretty solid. I think it’s only a matter of time till he eats the money and returns personally.

Rahm thought this would blow over and got sold there would be a merger and he would be back soon after taking the money.

Supposedly PGA people tried to get in front of him and explain that wasn’t going to happen, but he wasn’t listening.

LIV also caught Rahm in a pissy mood because he was mad that he wasn’t being treated like one of faces/alphas of the PGA tour. Specifically he was upset that the Spieths/Thomas/Cantlays were being consulted much more on the Tour’s future than he was. He thought he could go cause the merger and then be viewed as the “needle mover” in professional golf. In reality it’s been the opposite.

They must have really iron clad his and Hatton’s contracts though compared to the first wave of guys who went over in 2022.

Well, don't watch the Masters. He'll be there every year until he's too old to swing a club.

Forced to do that for sure. But I hope he never wins it again.

Rahm was actually the moment when the PGA realized they won. They lost the 2nd best player in the world and their numbers went up and LIv stayed the same

It was the proof individual golfers really don’t have “worth” (outside of Tiger)

the Rae's Creek Pisser

I laugh everytime I see him called by this name. He should never live that down, and the internet will make sure he doesn't.
