Its time to get a new set of irons. I currently have the Ping ISI's and they have treated me really well for 15 years. I am around a 10 handicap, hit my 8 iron 150-155 and play a cut/fade that can turn into a slice with mishit.

I am looking at buying used. Looking at either the Titliest AP2's, M2's or Pings.

My current irons are great but i feel like i am missing out on the new technology and would like to improve some distance.

TIA

The AP2 and M2 couldn’t be further apart. Ping now makes multiple sets for various needs. You’d be doing a disservice if you didn’t try Srixon. Z765 or Z565.

The AP1’s would be better for your handicap range

check out the new ping i210's or i500's when they come out if you're a ping guy. i love my i200's

ETA: sorry missed the used part. You could probably find some used i200’s close to your price range

I like the ISI's Nickels, have them. Went to second generation of Ping Hybrids, G30 3 Wood 13.5 degree (adjustable) G30's #2-17 degree thru #6-30 degree. Picked up 20 or more yards per club. Filled in the rest of the bag with ISI's as appropriate.

Don't just limit yourself to one brand. Go to a demo day or a club that has a fitting cart. Hit a bunch of different ones and hit them outside if you can to really see the ball flight. Mizuno has some of the best feeling irons Ive ever played with. I can't stress enough to get fitted when buying irons.

What's your budget?

Can get a set of Ping i25s for a steal.

Solid budget. Get fit for some of the newer options in shafts then find a used set with them shafts in it. profit.

Srixon and Mizuno will often allow free upgrades from their stock options. My set new was $700, and I got the +1” long, 2* upright, project X shafts, and MCC midsize grips.

Ive thought about just reshafting my current ISI's. they have treated me so well, i just think better technology would help my game.

You’ll likely find better deals (and newer models) with Ping irons vs Titleist or TM in that price range. If you’re looking for added distance, TM would be the best of those three options.
