Please hold your applause until the end.
I will still be around, but won't bother the PXG haters with any more pics.
Picked up the new Gen 5 driver and the Bat Attack Putter today. Should have the new hybrid next Tuesday.
Really like the responsive face on the putter. Hope to get to try the driver before I get my knee scoped on Monday for the 4th time.

You think they can bop it well enough for the price point? Maybe even if it’s not quite 50?

I want to get a bat attack, how is it?
Posted on 6/7/22 at 8:09 pm to CBandits82
The best feature of the Bat Attack is with the weights and the hosel options they can match it to your stroke.
Very well balanced and I really like the face.
Good feel and a more responsive face than my Evnrol.

I was about 30 min from ordering the bat attack. Then it was like titleist saw me shopping the pxg site cause I got an update that my Scotty had shipped right after I built my bat attack.

Good luck with the new Scotty Doc.
It's all about what gives you confidence and puts the ball in the hole.

Glad you like your gear.
Dont worry about the haters. This is a forum and opinions are like assholes.

Have you done and side by side comparisons of the bat attack to the phantoms?
Posted on 6/8/22 at 10:10 am to CFDoc
The putter is the last club in the bag I want to replace. How do the PXG putters compare to the Scotty Cameron's? My clubs are all Titleist so I assume get a SC, but damn they're pricey, for a club that ultimately comes down to line and speed. Seems like getting a putter set up for your vision matters more than brand.

Hope the scope goes well and you are back playing soon.

I have not.
I have owned a couple of Scotty's (Newport 2 and Red X) and I have tried my buddy's Phantom 5.5 several times.
Honestly I have never been that enthralled with Cameron's. I always like inserts like Odyssey white hot better in the past. I ordered a new Phantom 7.5 on a whim but I cancelled it.
I always wanted to do a putter fitting, so when the PXG store in Houston opened I scheduled a fitting on their trackman with the new driver and putter, great deal for 50 bucks. It was pretty eye opening seeing your type of stroke and path.

I agree 100 %
I learned in the fitting that my stroke was better suited for a double bend heel shaft . I have been using slant necks and center-shafted putters the last 15 years.

Thanks, last time it took a couple of weeks. I need to get it replaced like my other knee, but I am not ready to go through that again so soon, so I opted for a clean out procedure.
I have RA and I have been doing Enbrel weekly self injections the past 12 years.
Playing 13 years of Football along with the RA has taken it's toll on the body.

You can use the LINK function but the IMG function is just too much to handle for you?

13 years? You must have played professionally......
Now we really need to get me in that will!

Hopefully I did the math right off the cuff.
I played almost 4 years of Semi-Pro. I got $50.00 a game, free shoes and Uniforms back then as a starting MLB.
Started playing Football in the 3rd grade at Istrouma in Baton Rouge in the 60's
My claim to fame is that I crushed Steve Largent on a pass play across the middle in high school in Ok.
Would have played in College on scholarship. but I hit a cow on a country road going 55mph on my Kawasaki 500. Snapped my left leg in two, took me almost two years to recover.

Quite an impressive life short summary there Bopper.
