If I didnt like my Ping fo-hunnit as much as I do, I'd definitely want to try and buy one of these. Love the simplicity of Mizunos in the looks category.

Apparently there are multiple ones in the line depending on skill level. Range in size. Full article below

It looks like the back end of a old Nike VR had sex with a late model Taylormade Burner to create a new Mizuno .

Can't wait to see what the crown looks like. Would surely give this club a chance to take over the POS M1 I have.

I was a YYUGE fan of the Taylormade Burner TP and 2.0

I think that was probably the last line of driver they released before their quality dipped. The old R line was quality as well.

But see;

Of course, given Mizuno’s propensity for reserving portions of its catalog for the Japanese market, the probability is that these particular models will never hit shelves in the USA.

Why do they do this?

The current line of mizuno drivers are cheaper than their TM, Callaway, and Ping counterparts.

Mizuno also doesn’t charge for any shaft upgrades.

I’m currently hitting the ST180. Very solid drivers.

Yea, I just got a Mizuno St180 with the extra stiff Tensei Ck pro White shaft for $300 before tax. I love it too. I was getting unbeatable numbers off the trackman with that combo. I love the blue color too.

2 questions - Does mizzy have a 440cc head? And are their after market shafts legit OEM or repainted noodles?

I don't think they have a 440 for their newest model drivers, just 460cc. I believe the shafts are legit. Mitsubishi makes some really nice shafts, and I don't think I've been able to hit the center of my driver like a can with this set up. I barely feel any flex, and it has helped me be a lot more consistent.
