I'm there Wed-Sunday! Anybody looking for hotel rooms close to course? I may have 2 extra at West Bank Inn!

To all of you who got tickets in the lottery....

Just kidding. Have a great time! I'm extremely jealous.

I will apply again this year and await my rejection letter in July for at least the 10th year in a row.

I haven't won a lottery ticket since I started applying for them years and years ago.
How hard is it to find/buy a ticket off the street?
(I know they cant sell within so many feet from Augusta.)
Ive also heard that Sunday's ticket is the easiest to find since so many need to leave to get home for work on Monday.

Also interested in info on how to get practice round tickets. Stub hub, street, ect. I'm sure the closer it gets the more prices will come down, I think I checked last year the week before was around $400 but cant remember.

Right now, $1100 is the cheapest "legit" ticket. Any advice appreciated

I find that going to the parking lot and talking to someone leaving the grounds(this is best done away from the entrance and view of local law enforcement) is an easy way to score a great deal on a practice round ticket(even Wednesday) helps if you have a camera and tell ticket holder you've never been and just want to get inside and take some pictures! Last yr paid $200 for 2 at 1:30 on Wednesday!

Tell me you’re a member of the PGA without telling me you’re a member of the PGA…

Gotta ask, did you get drawn?

I am now 0 for 9 on the lottery

Im convinced I will have to pay thousands if I ever want to go.

I got practice round tickets through the lottery back around 07-08, two years in a row. Back before the online lottery.

I just assumed I'd keep getting in. Haven't since. Depressed.

I dont understand it.

I've tried selecting all dates, half the dates, half the tickets, all the tickets.

Nothing works. Then a friend will submit once and get in and take his wife instead of me.

For me.....it's either 14 or 15 years in a row receiving the dreaded email...However, I have been twice, 2016 on sunday and 2019 ..Saturday and Sunday....followed Tiger for 15 holes on Saturday and just walked around following different groups on Sunday until Tiger came to 16......Awesome!!!! Trying to go back this year.......
