I got one of these. When I'm playing and stuck behind a slow group, I'll drive the tree line and snag anything I see. Or if there is nobody around me, I'll spend a few minutes in areas that have a lot of brush close to where a sliced drive would go out.
Don't slow down the pace of play. But you can find a ton of good golf balls. A lot of people who can afford ProV1s aren't going looking for them too long. They just drop another.

Fun Fact about Lostballs.com. A manager at a course told me that LB pays $.30 per ball. He has a group of 3 that has some sort of a vacuum that pull thousands out of the water and they don't even get wet.

I've had good success with them. They're located in Sugar Land (near Houston) but get balls sent to them from around the country.
Anything Pristine rated might as well be called brand new. Mint is usually pretty good. However, the amount of marking can vary, and I've seen ~1/12 have a light scuff here or there. I wouldn't buy anything lower graded unless it's going in a shag bag or to be hit into a net.
Routinely can get TP5s, Chromesofts at $2/ball.

Ordered from them a few times. Got the 5A grade, haven't been disappointed yet.

FYI if you live nearby, you can go by their warehouse (or at least you could the last time I bought some, probably 2 years ago) to avoid shipping costs.

Lostgolfballs.com is much better than found golf balls.com. Get the pristine though. There is a huge difference between 5A and pristine.

At my ball retriever fitting, we finally found the appropriate mid size grip.
It was worth the upgrade to get the proper counter weighting for the various lengths of the telescoping shaft. It’s a process, but well worth the time and fee.
I went old school at the working end with the metal scoop cup. Classic.
I also had each of the telescopic portions of shaft upgraded and “pured” to really produce a feel individualized for me.
I did not choose to paint it, but wanted to stay with the timeless, subdued metal look overall in spite of the modern technology I invested in the retriever.
I wish Scotty Cameron, LA Golf, or LAB would make a ball retriever so I could pay $500 for one.

Highly recommend. Most of their mint balls look brand new. Many just have small custom logos on them. Shipping is fast. They’re all I use when I need new balls.
