Patrick Reed tearing it up round 1. Honestly, nothing would be funnier than Reed winning the Masters next week. Heads would explode. I'm not a fan of him, but would really enjoy the social media reactions.

Cam Smith is the dude I have been most disappointed with. I was a big fan and still was after leaving for LIV. Actually liked that he was honest that getting his money caused him to slack off. But thought after he acknowledged that he'd get back into a groove and get back to his old self.
But he's been pretty bad. This was the first time I looked at the players stats on the LIV website. He was 51st out of 55 in driving accuracy last year and 54th this year... even below Anthony Kim. 49th in greens in regulation this year. I know putting has always been his strong point (finished 1st last year and 4th this year) but man he's struggling. I can't see him competing at any majors right now.

Went down to Doral for the first round yesterday. Was surprised at the size of the gallery. Wasn't where it would be if it was the old PGA event, but it wasn't that far off. If you equate it to a Thursday PGA crowd , it was pretty decent.
The course was in beautiful shape. It was great to see the Blue Monster in person.

I played the blue monster back in the day. I remember the Bermuda rough being brutal.

Having grown up in South Florida and living there almost my whole life I don't know why I had never been to Doral. It was fun to see it up close.
