LGA Mid-Am Cancelled

The can play in State Am in the middle of Nola in mid-June with a full field but not the mid-Am in August in fricking Broussard? What the frick?

Word I heard was that Le Triomphe didn't want all the people at their club during this pandemic. Didn't sound like it was an LGA decision.

I would guess Le Triomphe didn't want to host it anymore, whether due to the crowds or just due to the membership playing a ton of golf due to working from home.

Just played in the 4Ball. Minus having to ride with your partner they set it up fairly simple where you weren’t truly close to each other. Has to be the course forcing their hand.

Shouldn’t be to hard to change venues, several places in great shape right now that would love to host I’m sure...... otherwise just postpone, don’t cancel it altogether

It's 2 weeks away. Pretty hard to get a club to shut down for 4 days, including a weekend, with 2 weeks notice. They have events going on too. Maybe they could play it at a BREC course, but a place like that would be the only real option.
