I took lessons last year with Burkstaller at Greystone. I didn’t get a ton out of it. May need to take more lessons and he did give me some good pointers. However, there wasn’t a ton of info he gave to me. He recorded me on his phone a couple times to show me my takeaway, but nothing I could take home. I also would prefer to have a trackman or some sort of data to review.
I need to take some this year and am debating who to use. I wasn’t planning to use him again.
I am a high handicapper though. Perhaps he is better at helping others that have a better game.

Has anyone had success at GolfTec?

That's a bummer. I talked to Bobby Flanagan yesterday as well. Unless one of you kind BRCC members wants to host me, I can't get any lessons from him. I remember last year at Santa Maria I always saw a guy out there giving lessons with a trackman? I guess I will call up there and see whats up.

Had my lesson with burkstallar today and loved it. Great personality and I came away understanding what to work on.

He'll give you the videos if you ask.

How is Rex compared to Travis Coxe at Santa Maria?

Has anyone worked with Ryan McGwyer at Golftec? Golf Digest has him currently as a top 5 instructor in Louisiana.

He won Golftec’s coach of the year award back in 2016. Basically, it’s an award for someone who sells the most lessons. What happened was the other coach quit and he was by himself. Then the flood happened and courses were down for a bit and you had a colder than normal winter. Not sure if it started then, but he got in trouble for lying about some of his lesson numbers and/or doing lessons and taking LSU stuff for payment instead of money. Either way, he sucked and he’s gone.

Drive up to Shreveport and see Shaun Webb. Expensive but worth it.
