Anyone have a launch monitor/simulator? I'm wanting to see what the best options could be for me. I don't want a permanent install, so looking at Skytrak+ or Mevo+. I will not likely bring it with me to a range or anything, but want portability. Software/Hardware recommendations?

I’ve done a lot of research on this as I want to build me a simulator soon. For software GSPRO is the way to go. $250 for the year and a lot of courses, 500ish courses. Launch monitor I’m looking to get is a bushnell launch pro. Portable like you want and camera based for accuracy and no fees unless you want club data. The simulator set up I’m looking at is Carl’s place. It looks quality

I did an extensive search. I found that for professional data the launch pro/GC3 was the best device for the price. Mevo and skytrac reviews led me to believe the data was ok but not good enough to really train from. Device is about 3500 and is completely portable plus you don't need 10 feet of space for it as its not radar.

Ok sweet I am going to look into that more. I like the Camera based tech instead of doppler.

Don't you have to pay a higher annual fee or pay a ton to "unlock" it?

Yes, the Launch Pro has ridiculous annual fees to unlock for sim use and full data. If you get GS Pro you can avoid paying the subscription, but that's not guaranteed to work forever.

I have a set up from Ernest Sports. US made and veteran owned. Customer service is absolutely off the charts and I just plain like all their equipment. I think it is the best value for the money. Unlimited funds of course there are other ways to go but you can't beat Ernest for the value.
Check them out.

They changed a lot of the pricing structure this year. You can pay I think 249/year for all the data. Unlocked is a few grand but doesn't make a bunch of sense since at 249/year it would take a decade to break even.

The bushnel one you have to pay a yearly fee.

If you buy the actual GC3 (same product) it comes fully unlocked. But I think is $7kish.

Still supposed to be the best bang for the buck tho if you’re really into the numbers. It’s the best monitor for the price you can buy unless you drop like $20k on a GCQuad or Trackman.
