i'm not a big fan of it, personally ... the holes are all too similar to each other, imo ... decent greens, though ...

Anywhere great to eat around there?

The restaurant there at Kiva is good and they have drinks as well.

The restaurants at beach club are decent - not sure if they are open right now.

For a really good meal we load up and go to Tin Top or Jesse’s - just make sure you have a designated driver.

Edit - the bar / restaurant at Peninsula is more than serviceable.

Play Kiva. This is a hit and miss time of year in south AL. Best time is probably late spring, but if you are in the area, PLAY IT. If the wind blows and it is cold just manage expectations and know you probably won't shoot 67. It's the best course in the area (that has some decent courses) and makes Fort Morgan (along with The Beach Club and other courses on the same road) a very untapped resource in my (irrelevant) humble opinion.

We play every October at Kiva. A great experience that has turned into a tradition. Thursday, we play one of the Mississippi courses in the morning, like Shell Landing, then play the short course at Magnolia in Mobile in the afternoon. Supper is at the “throwed rolls” place - Lamberts. We stay at the condos at Kiva, and play two rounds there Friday. Saturday is two rounds at Peninsula, and Sunday morning on drive back home, we play a round at Rock Creek in Daphne. Just a great time.
