Is the LSU course unplayable currently?

Curious if anyone has played this course recently. It’s been years since I’ve played there but it looks in decent shape driving by on Nicholson.

Just returned from a round. It’s still in rough shape. It’s not all terrible and given the degree of support they’ve been given in recent years, I’m just glad it’s open. Still a grass range for cheap. And they have new cups! So the flags sit nice and firmly in there. Something!

How does an agricultural school have a shitty golf course?
Our turf grass program is legit.
Other SEC schools have great courses yet ours is complete dog shite. I don't get it.

It’s horrible. I don’t even try to putt. Sort of an interesting layout.
Main guy there told me they keep talking about putting an assembly center there but never knows when it will happen.
He said there isn’t much he can do. He know it sucks.

Played Saturday...its playable. But more like playing in a random field with areas that appear like fairways / greens...
