Greens were pretty damn good a few weeks ago.

Fairways were in great shape 2 weeks ago. Greens were better than they were in April with all the Poa.
I've always had trouble putting at the Island .. don't believe they roll true.

Ah well in that case, I don’t believe any course I’ve ever played has rolled true.

Was in good shape 2 weeks ago. One of my favorite courses in the BR area.

Don't have to be a dick. Their greens just don't do what the putt should do as what Carter or TPC does

No disrespek but wtf does this mean?
Each course is going to roll different. Consistency is key when judging a courses greens, and the Island is probably the most consistent green to green in the area.

No it's not
You never know what a putt is gonna do there.

Island greens have dead spots all over due to watering problem for two weeks. I would avoid The Island for the rest of the summer. They won’t get this fixed soon

The course had a leak on the main irrigation line that has been fixed. But the greens went without water for 3-4 days and in our summer heat, took some damage. But they will be back soon. Just need time and water.

I understand there was an equipment problem but don’t charge people $60 to play on that. Post a pic when #9 is back

Good point. A slightly discounted rate is a good idea.

Agreed and be upfront in the pro shop when they call or check in. Don let them get out there and whoa half the practice green is gone

Had some irrigation issues earlier this week.
Some burnt spots on the greens when I played today, other than that course is in really good shape.
They’re also discounting green fees for the greens not being perfect.
