Is callaway pre-owned legit?

I am looking for a new 5 wood and see a really good deal on one but it doesn't provide any kind of picture of the club. It just shows it under the "like new" category.

Yes, Callaway pre-owned is legitimate. A like-new will be in pristine condition. I have bought several clubs in the past from them and they have always arrived better than expected.

Do you have any experience on what the average ones look like?

I just bought two MD3 wedges over the weekend for less than $100 for both. One was in average condition, one was listed as good condition.
They should be here later this week. I'll let you know how they turn out

No, unfortunately I have only bought "like new" and "very good" in the past. The "very good" condition was excellent

I’ve bought from them.
It was legit.

Average looks like a very good used club....might have a mark or two on it because it’s probably been played a few rounds or part of a season. They don’t sell junk by any means. I’ve bought quite a few from there and never been disappointed.
Excellent customer service too

Bought a like new GBB Epic 3 wood and it was like brand new.

Super legit. I bought a mint condition Epic SZ and it broke on third round with it. I emailed them on the 10th hole when it happened and by the 12th they had sent me an email to send me a brand new one.

Yea, Callaway P.O. has the best condition clubs for their stated condition label out there.
Their “Good Condition” is “Mint” on other sites.
Also they ship from Austin so it gets to you in a day or two.

Just bought two new individual irons. One was listed as very good , other was listed as good condition. I’m not sure I would have looked twice at either club had they come in a new set. They are both great clubs. I’ve always had good experiences with them in the past, too.

I have had good experience working with them.
I ordered a driver from them a few years back, the box was busted up when it arrived at my door, and the shaft was in 3 pieces when I opened it up.
Called them to talk to them about it, and they sent me a new one as soon as I sent the other one back no questions asked.
I was impressed with their customer service.
Their "like new" that I had ordered looked like it was maybe hit 4-5 times. They are pretty accurate with their assessments from what I've seen and heard from others.

I put in an order for a callaway 5 wood. I was a little skeptical since there wasn't any pictures of the club, but ya'll talked me into it lol

Sometimes their “like new” clubs still have clear plastic on the heads

Got my callaway 5 wood in today. "Like new"condition and not a single scuff or scratch on it. Got it $90 cheaper than a new one. Absolute steal

I got both wedges in yesterday and they look great. One was listed as average condition and the other one listed as good.
The average condition has a small blemish on the toe of the club, but otherwise looks great. The good condition looks like it's only been hit 25-30 times
