Been taking lessons from a teacher/fitter. He’s a top 50 callaway club fitter but doesn’t push Callaway. In fact he fitted me for a ping g440 lst. I took lessons with him as well. Really helped improve my swing but he had mentioned that when I’m ready to get out of my zx7’s and get into a more forgiving iron he said to let him know. He said he doesn’t fit anyone into a players iron except for a select few. He doesn’t even play them. I’ve been thinking about it and I’m interested to see the difference. I love my zx7’s but going to test some game improvement irons. He said a lot of people are loving the new elyte irons. It’s what he’s hitting as well.

Two close to + handicaps I knew in college played game improvements.

There opinion was I want all the help I can get and I want it easier, the game is already hard enough.

I’ve been looking at a set of zx7s.

If you like the ZX7s you need to try the ZX5s.
Some to look at are P790s, Titleist T-Series, Muzuno JPX series. I was recently fitted into Callaway Apex AI300s and love them.
