PGA tour brand shorts and get them hemmed. I get all my shorts hemmed because of how ridiculously long they come.

izod or Haggar at the outlet mall. Have 6 pair in total, I think they are about 18-22$/pair

I will say their shirts are the best for summer golf. Light, thin, super stretchy, and cool. Plus they fit well around the shoulders. I have pretty broad shoulders and some shirts feel restrictive in my swing. The VV shirts stretch nicely with no restriction.
I have mostly Izod and Calloway shorts now. The Izods are good. Cut short and comfy.

I ordered two pairs of shorts -- got one pair of shorts and one pair of pants
Looking at the listing, I think they ran out and sold inventory they didn't have. The shorts are great though and I'm going to keep the pants for winter.
Also copped a pair of the Vineyard Vines Performance shorts on eBay and they're fantastic.
