Will be staying north of Houston in area of airport fri and sat. May play at Tour 18. Any other decently priced options I should consider?

GCH
Oakhurst (a little north) for cheaper and still pretty good.
Cypresswood would have been a no brainer, but they ate closed due to Harvey.

Tour 18 is a fun track. You can drive up to the Woodlands and get on plenty nice courses.

I have never played it but I am sure your 18 is the best course in Humble. I play at Atascocita golf club and it’s pretty good. Red wolf in Huffman can be fun but they got a little messed up from the storm.

I played at GCH on Saturday and the rough is pretty thick and greens are kinda slow, but still in good shape! They're running some good deals right now, also.

I wouldn't play Tour 18, it gets packed and lacks general maintenance.
Go drive to Mont Belvieu and play Eagle Pointe
Check out Gleanloch Pines or Windrose in Spring

i would normally say to stay away from tour 18, but there's probably not that much still open on the north side ... kingwood and cypresswood are closed till the spring, at least ... could try newport or augusta pines ... tour 18 is simply not a well maintained course and the holes certainly do not evoke their namesakes ...

that's way up there, though ...

I wouldnt go out of my way to play Tour18, but if you’re right there near it, might as well. It’s a cool thing to try once.
