Golf trips w buddies are essentially my highlight of the year. We do one a year and have hit Monterey, Bandon, Bend, OR, Idaho, we were able to do some Canada golf outside of Toronto. We are fortunate that most of us live in Scottsdale so we have access to destination golf year round. I also always try and work in a round somewhere when I travel even if I play solo.

This year we are returning to Bandon and will get to checkout Sheep. I think Bandon cannot be topped, but I’m guessing Pinehurst or maybe Kohler courses could give them a run. I haven’t been there yet but want to go for sure. How is Streamsong? I’ve heard it is Bandon East. My buddy keeps pushing us to go there.

To the guy that said they normally are $1200 in for Scottsdale I would consider saving the money and skipping a big trip (maybe just get together somewhere close for a couple days instead) and then use the $ for both years to go to Bandon. The only complaint anyone could have about that place is possibly the wind. It can be pricey, but the value is there.

Bandon's the GOAT for this side of the pond. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys the game and can shoot a decent #

Streamsong is very nice and easy to travel to from Louisiana. However, it’s definitely no Bandon. I’d imagine Pinehurst is probably the closest thing to Bandon on the eastern half of the country.

I have only played the Blue course. I enjoyed it, but course-wise, it is no Bandon. Hope to play Red and Black sometime soon.

Yep , just an incredible experience, should be on everyone's bucket list.

I love grand courses and that's why I can't wait to play Prairie Dunes in Kansas next year.

My buddies trip was always to Savannah/HHI. We played Thursday PM in Savannah, 36 in HHI Friday and Saturday and 18 Sunday before we drove home. I grew up in Savannah and worked at most of the courses there, so I always set that round up for us. Usually, we stayed/played at Palmetto Dunes, but we ventured elsewhere (I got us Harbour Town for real cheap one year, so we did that).

When I was a club pro, I took a group of members to RTJ trail in Auburn/Opelika every year (they competed in a yearly dogfight to earn their way on the trip). Also took a group of members to Scotland one year to play Kingsbarn and St Andrews.
