It's more internet chatter/speculation talk. I never saw anyone come straight out and make accusations. Most saying it's suspect given his past. Google his name and drugs and see what comes up.

I think it's more likely he was drunk high or hungover and fell down the stairs.

The truth is, and I've gotten it from a tour player, he was working out Wednesday morning and decided to try for a max on the power cling and hurt his ribs. He was too embarrassed to say this is what really happened. TIFWIW

I'm far from in the known, but I have a few connections with DJ stories.
One is a buddy of mine who played CFB. After school, he worked for a major helmet manufacturer. That manufacturer also partnered with a company that sold wireless helmet contact sensors. One of the board members was a guy from LA who loved golf and knew Wayne well. This guy relayed that DJ couldn't play a competitive round of golf without being high on pills or drunk (hence every interview he has ever done). Said he showed up the day after losing the Chambers Bay US Open to a casual round with Wayne and friends. Being the competitor he is, Wayne said told him he didn't have to be there. Dustin acted like nothing had happened and was confused why they wouldn't want him there.
Secondly, I have a buddy who played major D1 golf. He has a buddy who is a tour vet and won a few events. Long story short, he has provided Holly Saunders, Paige Sprainac, and other nudes long before they were public. The source? Always DJ.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dustin and Paulina have a fairly open relationship.

I don't believe that bullshite story for one minute. There's no possible way he "got his arse whipped" and that doesn't hit the national headlines. No pics of a busted up face or anything. People film other people dying these days. If there was an arse whipping dealt out, no way somebody wouldn't have captured that on film. Just my opinion.

Not just that there are no marks, but he had a wild time in his life and was probably in a scrap or two. Now with the strength he has, not sure too many tour guys want that fight.

And as for no one wanting to fight him, please. Bang my ol lady and I'll whip your arse or at least try. There are plenty of in shape guys close to his size and younger and meaner.

IDK Coach. I just don't buy how Rahm...or whomever allegedly beat his arse...could go to the house where DJ and Paulina are staying, show up unnoticed, presumably barge in (or whip his arse in the doorway? I've seen crazier shite happen. Also, golf paparazzi are different than regular celebrity paparazzi. And the regular ones that follow Paulina act right at and around golf events. I'm just saying it could happen.
Last, I never mentioned Rahm's name...but that is the one I heard beat him down. And Rahm is a big enough boy to get it done.

Bubba's got the height and length to tango.
Kucher is also a gentle giant but looks to have that Dad strength if needed.
Koepka and 'Angry Orchard' Stenson would give DJ the beat down in a heartbeat.
Many guys on the tour that would go toe to toe with DJ not counting the millineal crew of Rory, Rickie, and Jordan.
