You ever put a couple extra wraps on it?
50 plus rounds, no issues. Probably pretty close to 3 layers of grip tape

You don’t even need a vice. I bought a set of saplize off amazon, like $50 for 15 and did it myself. And if I can do it you can too.

Another quick tip. If you prefer a reminder grip and can’t find them. Use a round grip and put a small piece of weed eater string along the bottom and tape in on there. Works great. Make sure to buy the right size for your shaft also.

You can use as many wraps as you like. I only use one wrap. Midsize grips are an option as well.

How hard is it without a vice?
Just ordered my first kit.

Not hard as long as you use plenty of grip solvent and don’t stop to get a better handle on the grip halfway through. Keep the grip moving until it’s all the way on. There is time to adjust it after.

Great replies. My only offer, for the first time have one or two extra grips. As with other skills you’ll get better as you do more. My golf group changes grips together, each has a specific job; remove grip, remove tape and old glue, new tape, etc.
