The member initiation was ridiculous. Not sure what it is now.

Membership at Willowfork or Falcon Point is way cheaper.

Not a fan of Falcon Point but I like Willow Fork.

I kind of lost interest in belonging to clubs after I left Sweetwater CC, I got tired of the jerks that think they run things.

I'm liking playing different courses every time.

Played Cinco Ranch yesterday and the greens are dormant and super fast.

My group has a rotation of Cinco, Wildcat, Wilderness. EL Dorado, Pearland CC and Gus.

Once every couple of months we will play Blackhawk, Tradition, Blackhorse and Riverbend.

I live on Greatwood, so I will play in a Senior money game there every few weeks.

Forest Cove but that is now a wasteland.

Were you around when it was open? If so how was it? I pass the area all the time and see the old clubhouse when I go to gators.

How is this course? I don’t live very far away and honestly never knew it existed until a buddy asked about it a while back. Looks sort of semi private.

Yes I was. I have been in Kingwood since '96. It was maybe the complete definition of goat ranch but it was kinda fun to play because it had some cool holes. Plus, it was the kind of course you could go drink beer and have a lot of fun with buddies and not give a frick about getting loud, which made it kind of like the anti-Kingwood CC.

We just got an email from the Kingwood CC GM. Increasing cart fees from $50 to $140 and dues from $360 to $410. These are for Young Executive (under 40).

In the last month I've played Cinco, Tradition, and Cypress Lakes. All the greens were the same. I guess that's just what you get in the winter. As soon as I see that the greens are clearly spray painted,I know I'm in trouble. They have killed me. I can't get the ball to stop.

It oddly only shut down one of the three nines. So still got a full 18.

The green however is toast
