It de-legitimizes the players on the tour who are moving up the rankings due to the superstars leaving for LIV.
It also crushes the American golf monopoly
Good news for LIV is that the PGA Australia just announced all LIV players can play on their circuit.

Bettering the game? That's Social Worker bs. It's about the money, and not pretending that golf is somekind of benevolence society. There's absolutely no reason why these two entities can't exist and share fields, other than than the PGA Tour's nose becoming disjointed and it's chosen one's acting like spoiled 3 year olds because their " status " is diminished.
