Watching his press conference, and had no idea he has gone through a couple new coaches since the end of last year and been trying to reinvent his swing. He won 3 times last year. Why do these guys do this? Reminds me of Bryson going nuts after he won the US Open. He is talking about some weird shite.

I get the feeling these guys get to the point where they feel they have plateaued and will do almost anything for the next level. His swing does have some unconventional aspects, so this doesn't surprise me greatly.

Lee Trevino had a swing that you would not teach anyone, but it was repeatable under pressure. With all the tech in teaching now I think that aspect is lost on the modern golfer.

I heard them discussing on the Golf Channel & said he loves to tinker w/ his swing. He is always looking for info to improve.

Has he gone Full Tard?

We'll see.

I get it. Your body is in a constant state of change so your swing needs to change with it.

They said on the featured group broadcast a few minutes ago that he was struggling this year, then he figured out he had an extra 5mg weight on his driver he didn't remember putting on. He apparently removed it and started hitting fairways again.

When you're tinkering so much at that level that you forget your current setup, that's a problem

Turn your hat around backwards and put all your change in your left pocket.

He’s so screwed up he dropped out of the Tournament next week. He’s completely lost right now.

Reminds me of when Martin Kaymer was ranked world #1 and decided he needed to change his swing so that he could work the ball better both ways….

He’s never been heard from since.

Hovland is on the record as a certified golf sicko. The dude is a swing work/gear junkie. He just has the burden of relying on the game to make his living, He's one of us in the worst way possible. completely opposite of Scottie.
