My 12 year old just finished a PKBT tournament at Clemson - youngest kid by about 2 years and no caddy... she played very well - finishing second overall - but she said the difference was the yardage books and the heat maps that show the breaks on the greens -

She knew exactly where to hit her approach shots and on long putts - what the breaks were - I wasn’t sold on these but if you have a big round coming up - they are a tremendous help...

Hopefully not around much longer. This is the reason pro and high level amateur golf is so slow.

The reviews for the app are abysmal. What is your personal experience with the app?

I am surprised to hear this about the reviews. I love the app and find the yardage spot on. It shows the breaks and elevations in the green and tons of other stuff. Especially helpful when I am playing a new course. I can review the course and plan my game in advance.

I used GolfLogix from 2013 to early 2020. I was always frustrated that it just never really got better and was very buggy. I download a bunch of other apps to try out and all of them were muchhhhh better than Golflogix. I settled on Grint. Only thing I would say I preferred on golflogix was the course graphics and recommended club based on distance. Literally everything else was garbage.
