Anyone recommend any specific golf instructors for a beginner in the BR area?

Chris Burkstaller at The Island in Plaquemine.
Multiple time award recipient of best golf teacher in LA. Also taught golf at LSU for years.
He's a super nice guy to boot.

Chris Burkstaller at the island has my vote!
He taught me as a junior and I still go to him regularly. he surfs tigerdroppings so he might respond on this thread

$100-$300/hr depending on their resume. There are some in BR through BREC that charge closer to $100/hr. The guy at pelican point is Paxton and I believe he is $200/hr. Brian Manzella in New Orleans is $300/hr.

Has anyone gone to Manzella and gotten better? I’ve heard 3-4 horror stories.
