Squirrel Run is in bad shape. There is serious doubt as to whether the greens will be able to come back after the freeze. They have no superintendent and can't get chemicals because Perry won't spend any money.
ETA: I agree with the wetlands suggestion or maybe atchafalaya if it is in decent shape.

Crazy things happening in our area...I played Spanish sunday....It was the worst course I have ever played. I was a member there from 2003-2013. It was never this bad in its worst condition. I haven't been to Squirrel since Nov. Greens bad again?

Spanish used to be decent for the money, but 2 years ago Ken left as the super and they promoted a maintenance guy. He did not believe in chemical and weeds moved in. Then he decided to spray and killed the weeds leaving no grass around the greens. It is really a shame because that piece of property is awesome for a golf course.

No upgrades at all.... I heard Tootie is over all operations as of today. As posted earlier, around a 100 members.... It doesn’t seem a good situation at this point.....
