Finished that episode last night. I was one of the guys that became a fan of his because of the first season. I lost my mom so I have a soft spot for guys who lost their mom too soon (now kind of a Wyndham Clark fan as well for the same reason). But he definitely wasn't as endearing this season as he was last. It definitely didn't make me dislike him and I'll still root for him but I got a feeling he ain't going to be around all that much longer. Dude's drinking is an issue.
Even the emotional scene with those two crying together talking about how he's going to do better was just drunk crying. I thought it was kind of sincere but when Joel pulls away from him he's got a Modelo can in his hand

That being said, I don’t know how they could’ve made Zach Johnson not look like a disaster of a RC captain.
Also, watching Full Swing and seeing his hot takes on X, Dan Rapaport gotta be up there in the easy to dislike golf media personnel category.

The dinner he had with Speith, Thomas, and Fowler was such a bad look. Especially when Speith blatantly asks if he is on the team.

I’m my mind, these three guys are bad for golf. It’s the entitled, rich kids clique we all hated unless you were part of it. Popped collar crew that’s too cool for golf yet they crave everyone having to pay attention to them.

I agree somewhat.
It's almost like seeing the behind the scenes stuff on these guys makes me like them less.
I've never been a JT fan, and after watching both seasons of Full Swing my dislike has grown.
I like Spieth, but he has come off as entitled and "too cool" for the normal fans
Fowler made a splash when he was younger with the hair and the outfits, but he seems to be the most mature of that group.

JT is a horrible human. He comes off as a closeted homo to me. I wanted be surprised if one day he came out as gay. Zach knew who his picks for the Ryder Cup were back in early July. Keegan was screwed. The US team was made up of rich, self-centered guys that don't have the first clue what being a team player means. Give Mickelson the captain position next Ryder Cup, and the US will put on a beat down.

Old bump but I finally got around to finishing it.
Yea, the Ryder Cup episodes were a bad look for team USA and Johnson. For JT, Spieth, and Ricky as well. Not just them rooming together, but just their actual dinner conversation. Spieth was pretty much a lock, but JT and Ricky were on the bubble (standing wise on the outside looking in). Yet they were having these "O I hope I make the team" and "Sure wish I could be on the team" jokes and laughing and that ZJ not picking them was laughable to even think about.
Never been a JT or Johnson fan, but this definitely made me dislike them even more and I'm actually kind of glad they lost/this was aired because it might help with the buddy picks in the future.
Never been a Keegan fan either but I'll definitely be rooting for him to make the next team because how he was able to look at the situation like he did in a positive light and actually be watching and cheering for team USA was pretty impressive. Definitely seems like a good dude and good husband/dad.
Also, ZJ wife's bolt ons might be the worst set of fake boobs in history.
Also, Joel Dahmon making the cut in 4 of his last 5 events so maybe he's taking his game a little more seriously now. Hopefully.
