Yeah heck of a weekend for sure with the fellas. Top it off which was pretty cool we were walking in early to go eat breakfast in the TPC club house wasn't hardly anybody there yet and low behold your Players and Open Champion pulls up!

Yea I played yesterday morning and I never heard any gunshots. Must have happened in the afternoon. I left there around 12:30

Course is hood adjacent and nobody has fisticuffs anymore, it’s kill or be killed.

The hood is pretty far away. The golf course is surrounded by a neighborhood, farm land, and an airport. It is pretty isolated.

Yes, somebody was randomly shooting their gun on Lake Martin road. They found shell casings yesterday. My Godchild and his buddies were on 15 tee and 14 green when it happened. Many hit the ground and hid behind a hill. A couple ran into the maintenance facility. They said they could hear the bullets whizzing by and impacting trees.

14 green/15 tee is in the middle of the course and pretty far away from the road. That's crazy.

We wanted to provide an update concerning the shooting incident yesterday near Oakbourne. We have found casings on Lake Martin Road and seem to think someone was practicing firing their gun. We are working on signage and potential surveillance for that entrance to their property. This was the first time to our knowledge that bullets have ended up on Oakbourne's property. Thankfully, no one was hurt and we will continue to work with the Sheriffs Department to find a resolution.

.7 miles according to google earth. I assume this is the entrance to the property they were talking about.
