First hole out from the fairway for Eagle

Not really a huge deal but a funny story. Short par 4 and I decide to lay up. My buddy pulls driver and hits one that looks like it is all over the pin. Another friend decides to go up to the green screaming “ITS IN THE HOLE” (it wasn’t even close, kicked off the green into a bunker lol)
We all laugh at him and call him an arse, then I step up from 70 yards out and absolutely drain it. Just an absolute rollercoaster. Anyway, I know CSB, but I’m mildly buzzed watching football after the round and just wanted to share

Anytime you hole a ball with anything other than a putter, it's magical. Congrats on the great shot!

A while back hit my first eagle from the fair way and it was on hole 1 of the round. It’s a great feeling congrats

Nah went bogey bogey after to get back to even lol
I feel like I was probably plus 22 or so that round maybe worse. It was one of my early rounds back

Been playing a little better lately. Was putting for an eagle last Thursday. Missed but got the birdie.
Today, 7 AM tee time. One of our guys was late so a 3 some teed off ahead of us. Good thing because it was barley light by 7:15. Good tee shot, 9 iron to the green right at the flag. I thought it rolled past. Walked up and 1/3 of the ball was over the cup. I stayed back off the green hoping the ball would drop while the others came up. It didn't. The greens were wet so I think it would have dropped if a little dryer.
Still great to start with a tap-in birdie.

LOL congrats man, haven't gotten and eagle yet, but i do remember my first birdie was a hole out on a par five from about 30 out. Felt great.
