I played Kelly, Regatta Bay, and Raven last week. Raven was in the best shape, followed by RB, then Kelly. I thought Kelly looked kind of rough and it is usually my favorite.

Windswept Dunes

It’s a 30 minute drive to Freeport, but don’t overlook Windswept Dunes. It is low frills as far as the clubhouse, but the course is legit and it’s a better value than the resort courses.

I like all the Sandestin courses

Regatta Bay and Kelly plantation are top Tier

Emerald Bay is another nice course that doesn’t get a lot of love.

Indian Bayou is in the smack middle of old Destin and has an old school club house. Dimple mugs at the bar.

Just stick to the Sandestin courses, Windswept Dunes, Indian Bayou, Regatta and Kelly, hard to find one in bad shape usually during the summer. My personal favorites that the public can play are Kelly and Regatta, you can also play Burnt Pine Tues-Thurs with a phone call from your local pro.

2 weeks ago I played
Regatta Bay
Raven and Baytowne
Emerald bay
Indian Bayou

They are all in great shape. Regatta and Emerald Bay punched a week ago. They should be healing up by now.

Discovered this place last summer. Ate my lunch but everyone was friendly and we barely saw another group. Long course. Play a set of tees you are comfortable with.

Me and ClassicGold are hitting up Indian Bayou on Friday. Haven't played there but have heard good things.

Windswept Dunes is one of my favorites. It plays longer than the card says because the fairways don't offer much roll. 7750 yds from the Championship tees.

Looks like we will be grabbing a few dimple mugs early and often with the way the weather looks this week.

I appreciate it. I am not sure what my playing schedule will look like. A lot more practice than playing. Probably mostly playing with the big Friday and Saturday group for now.
