Could be pretty wet, looks like about 4 days of rain beginning Sun/Mon, coming from the southern gulf…

I actually have a trip planned to play there on 26th and 27th with a buddy, so I'm interested in this as well if anyone has course tips. I know there's a gem around here that randomly drops 18 holes of gold nuggets about courses around the state. If you happen to do that in this thread, may a thousand blessings and birdies land upon you.

Buddy I am playing with is a stick so will probably be from the tips. I am not a far driver (245 average), but usually solid with irons down. Not looking for tips to score amazing....just not let the course eat me up.

I would recommend against this. It's "only" 6800 from the tips but plays much longer than that, especially if it's your first time. It will absolutely eat your lunch from the tips. The one ups will be much more fun.

1. Straight forward par 4
2. Dogleg left. Your miss is right, left you are dead. Don't be in the bunker short of the green.
3. Pretty straight forward par 4.
4. Par 3.
5. Longest par four, just gotta hit the fairway.
6. Straight forward par four.
7. Fairly tough par 5. Will be a three shotter for you. Your buddy might be able to go for it. On your second shot just avoid the trees on the right side of the fairway so you have a clear third shot.
8. Very pretty par 3 on the lake.
9. Long 3 shot par 5. There is water you cant see in front of the pin from the fairway. The closest your layup can be is like 120 yards. Despite being a par 5 I think it's the #1 handicap.
10. Dogleg left par 5 but fairly straight away. Your buddy should have an iron in hand on his second shot.
11.Fun shortish par four with nice views. Drives in the fairway will get a lot of roll out so plays shorter.
12. Tough par 4 with a blind tee shot. Even long hitters get punished trying to cut the corner. Best to just hit on top of the hill, hit a long iron in and try and acoid a greenside bunker.
13. Par 3.
14.Shoot your rangefinder so you don't go in the water off the tee. Probably 250-210 distance depending on tees. Missing the green here is a tough up and down. Wind normally blows hard off the lake here.
15. Straight forward par four. Will be trickier for your buddy if he hits driver, it gets narrow with bunkers down there.
16. A signature hole. Two separate fairways. I have never found any benefit of going to the left. No bunkers left I guess would be the benefit.
17. Par 3, wind normally blows hard here.
18. Uphill so just miss the fairway bunkers and you'll be ok.

Greens are pretty undulated throughout so you'll just have to figure those out on your own

If the super gets a hankering he can make greens lightening fast. Lots of slope try and keep ball below the hole. I played yesterday after rain it’s a bit wet right now w more rain coming. Plays very long when wet. Have fun thanks for coming up.

The re-do went very well, but there are still a few quirky holes. If it's cart path only, you will be worn out by the end of the day. It's in good shape from what I have heard.
