Played “golf” today at city park. The greens are an absolute embarrassment. I’m not sure when it rained last. The fairways are dry, and yet, the greens are brown and muddy.
MUDDY!!
what the hell? What the hell has happened? They were fine a couple of months ago. Not great but fine municipal shitty course level.
Someone should be fired

We rolled out there today and they were terrible.

City Park would be a fun track if it actually had greens.

When you get on it’s basically luck to make a putt, that’s not really a green.

Played today. Greens were like asphalt.

BREC is well funded and there is no excuse for what you guys reported. None whatsoever. City Park is a landmark. Either treat it with care or shut it down.

Exactly.

I play at Braver and Santa Maria most of the time but man if I want to tee it up at City Park for a Fathers Day 9 it should not be just absolute shite greens wise.

I don’t need immaculate fairways or bunkers but you at least need an actual green to play golf and what is at city park is not a green.

On top of the that the place was packed, most I’ve ever seen playing golf at City Park.

They have an opportunity here with so many coming back into the game because of the pandemic.

I don’t understand how Mike Raby can take pride in what is out there.

And it’s all part of the BREC courses right? Played beaver yesterday, amazing quality. (Back 9 f’d me up).
I don’t get city park. There has to be some kind of quality control, right?

Dumas and Webb both had greens in great shape too but went down just like City park. Maybe they will get punched like Webb did last week.

I think there are a lot of issues with drainage and irrigation, and then I also don't think they spend the money on maintenance that the other courses do.

Could be a lot of fun if it was in the same shape as Webb.

When City got that massive overhaul years ago all issues should have been addressed. There are no excuses.
