Chrome Soft balls

I was looking at the 2026 My Golf Spy ball testing and the Chrome Soft fared pretty well in distance and spin.
Any thoughts on this ball ?

Is it Chrome Soft or Chrome Tour?
For some reason Chrome soft sounded sort of clicky for me.
I’m sure they are a high quality golf ball.

I have been playing the Chrome Tour.
But I was thinking about the Chrome Soft as a winter ball since it's lower compression.

Haven’t played those. But I have been playing the Chrome Tour Triple Diamonds and have definitely enjoyed using them. Hell I’ve been damn near a club longer carry wise with them on irons

Did they bring the Chrome Soft back?
My understanding is that the Chrome Tour is the replacement.
FWIW, Callaway had some major QC concerns a few years back with the Chrome Soft. I use to love that ball but then I saw the issues (like 1/3rd of a box affected) and stopped playing them. The Tour was nice though

I noticed alot of spin off the tee. Thats really the only thing that affects me in my game. Im not good enough to notice it around the green.

I picked up a couple of dzn after playing a sleeve a friend gave me...
very pleased with the distance and performance...

Have you tried the Ballnamic fitting system from Ping? I tried it last night and got some interesting golf ball choices. The Srixon Z Star XV and the Wilson Staff were the top two matches.

Somebody posted a really good golf ball analysis that I am pretty sure was also from My Golf Spy. The bottom line was unless you have elite club speed you will not benefit from premium ball distance. The summary statement was “money does not buy distance. Money buys spin.”

I tried the Ballnamic tool 3 times.
For me it was realky slanted towards the Maxfli Tour and the BRX .
I didn't care for the BRX at all.
The Maxfli is good, but I like the Chrome Tour better.
