CCL or BRCC? Which would you try to join and why?

Not looking to start a pissing match between members of each club. Just interested in joining one of these clubs in the near future. My top priorities: golf practice facilities, tennis facilities, and being able to bring my family/guests from out of town without getting any push back from the club.
It goes without saying that the course being kept in great shape year round is also a priority, but I figured this is a given at each of these clubs.
Anyone have any real insight on initiation fees and yearly costs at each club? The stability of leadership at each club?
Thanks in advance for any information

CCL based on your priorities.

I think both offer basically what you outlined. For me, it would be about which course you like better and location.
The style of golf course is completely different. But both are almost always in great shape and both have good practice facilities.

Depends on your age.
BRCC in the neighborhood of $35k initiation and $800+ a month.

I don’t know anything about tennis facilities. CCL will be easier to bring guests. I like the range better at CCL. The range at BRCC is a little short.

Your numbers are way low.

Expect to spend closer to $1k per month by the time you add in extras

CCL is a better track. Both have nice swinger pool parties

No they aren’t. It’s in the ballpark.

Wow .. that’s the going rates for a lower tier club in Houston

Not sure if you’re surprised it’s that much or not more. It is Baton Rouge after all.

BRCC is much harder to get into right now. Even if you know someone, it’s still gonna take a little while.
CCL.. you could join tomorrow.

Chances aren’t great if you don’t already know a member who could give you the info you’re asking for. BRCC would be virtually impossible starting from scratch even if you happen to know a member. People think CCL is a lot easier but even there you can’t just call and they set you up with sponsors.

BRCC is one of the hardest clubs to join in the whole state.

40K initiation, 7500 stock and 850/month

For which one? What does “7500 stock” mean?

BRCC.
You have to be a shareholder to be a full member.

I always wondered if the initiation fee was purchasing shares that could be sold in the future or is it just lost if you leave.

It was just a question. I guess U club isn’t on the same level
