Are the people leaking this info just trying to kill the presidents cup?
Norman said the roster was full for 23 season, but expected to make more player announcements later this summer/fall. Hopefully both Cam's can still play, but no chance for Young to be a captain's pick if the rumors are true.

Norman's take on the "tour is full" is a play on words.
While true it's full, EXCEPT the dudes ranked in the lower 15, maybe 20, on LIV tour and are easily replaceable for top ranked PGA players.
Younger Koepka better finish top-30, maybe top-25, or he could be on the chopping block. I think he was ranked in the 1200's on the PGA tour, maybe worse.

I guess you know what makes all these guys happy? I wonder if the guys on tour struggling to make the cut, grinding it out each week. Paying all their expenses and them and their caddie aren't even making a good living despite being world class at their sport. Do you think more money would help make them happy? Because their employer could have been giving them more money for a long time now but hasn't.

So a LIV players tournament earnings goes against his upfront money.
Where is the incentive to actually win the event.

Right now? No. But it could be if it wasn't just on youtube and now one of three favorite golfers is on there so I'm sure I'll watch a little. But that has absolutely nothing to do with whether they are happy over getting paid a lot more money than they were making.

You're just saying things that have no actual proof. You have no idea what his practice is like now compared to what it was on the tour. I haven't watched him in a LIV tournament but the last time I did see him he was in contention in a major. Although they only showed like 3 total shots of his over the entire Open even though he was near the top the whole time.

Schwartzel came out and said he got his check. But if every single player gets all their money upfront, then yes, I can see the motivation not being %100. I don't think that is the case with most though.

What Schwartzel said to a reporter vs. what an attorney said in a court room. No one actually knows right now. However, we will once this thing goes through discovery.

I said before that I don't have any problem with LIV existing, it's just nothing special to me.
But they should stand on their own two feet and stop attacking the Tour. If they are proud of their product they should be happy.

The European Tour was already having issues becauseof covid restrictions. If it dissolves, is that good for the game and it's future.
