Fairly long but appearance (size and offset) didn't match what you would expect in forgiveness on off center hits.

The pro model isn't much of a drop in forgiveness with much better looks and appearance.

If you need max forgiveness move towards something like their Big Bertha or XR OS clubs.

If you want a great all around performing intermediate type club and a higher price isnt too big of an issue than the Apex CF 16 are best irons I've ever gamed.

Those Apex CF 16s are the real deal. Jacked lofts from the 8 and up but great all around clubs. I kind of wish I had the pros though.

Spin rate is crazy low if you are looking to hold greens - if you are looking for distance, they should get a look

I have a set coming in next week. Cannot wait to play them after having clubs that work against me for the last few years.

A buddy in my golf group plays them, he's a 7 handi. I'm not crazy about how they look at address but they are long and forgiving.

Calloway lofts are jacked up

Just played my 3rd round using the Steelhead Xr's. I played the apex irons before. I don't play as much as I use to that's why I switched. Not as smooth as the apex, but there at least a half club longer and definitely more forgiving. I play to a 6 handicap.

Played my first round with them yesterday. Took me a few holes to get used to the fit. After that it was great, and they do seem to play a bit longer than my old set.
