I'd say that may have to do with his single length clubs moreso than the distance he has altogether. Give me a longer 8, 9 and PW and I'll hit my clubs further also.
He definitely needs to work on his wedge game and less on his driver game at this point. I think he's even conceded that you get diminishing returns at some point with swing speed.
