Bridge House Golf Tournament

Played in the Bridge House/Grace House Tournament today at English Turn and was pleased to see Tigerdroppings.com as a hole sponsor of 2 holes today.
Thanks for supporting such a good cause. Drug overdoses are now killing more Americans than guns or car accidents. For those of you who may not know, Bridge House/ Grace House offers residents seeking recovery the time needed to become sober and productive individuals again. The Bridge House treatment program, which is based on the disease concept of addiction, is intensive and highly structured. Residents reside in a dormitory setting and progress through several phases of treatment: stabilization, primary, independent living and aftercare.

I played as well. Drank too many white cans and margaritas. My group was rough, the only two birdies we made were the holes with the college kids

Food was top notch too.
We shot -6. Had a few burned edges that kept the scoring higher than we would have liked. Course was in pretty good shape. How pissed would you have been as a member if you couldn't play your course on a Friday afternoon?

Well....
This is the type of deal to get me to stay over in New Orleans when working.
Let us know when this type of thing is happening. Golf is great / drugs are bad - I could have gotten behind this cause.

We need a tournament thread, would be nice to know of other 4 balls, scrambles, etc to go play in.

Playing a 6/6/6 this weekend.
First 6 is alternate shot, second 6 is a scramble, last 6 is match play. Should be fun.
