How is that course, I know its in the middle of a neighborhood.
Average, the Bruce Devlin 9 is classic links style with some trees.
Rates under $50 worth a try.

May try in when we come down in July, staying across the street from lost ball, definitely playing it for the first time. I usually play peninsula and alway enjoy it.

Just returned from playing Kiva and Peninsula. Both were in really good shape. I’d just stick to playing those courses.
Lost Key will never get a dime from me again.

I really don't understand the hate for Lost Key, there are some fun holes on the course. There are some tough ones that eat you ball if you aren't straight but we play it every time we're in the area.
I agree and it's always in good shape.

Played Indian Bayou last month, really good track. Hombre is closed, but it was a really good course in its heyday!

Played Kiva and Peninsula this past weekend. Both in incredible shape, but Peninsula's fairways were immaculate. Just perfect uniform lies the entire course and greens smooth as glass. It rained like hell the day before for about 12 hours and you couldn't tell if it had rained a drop.
Hit the ball really well for me but maybe made 3 putts in 36 holes.

I don't get what the love affair with Kiva Dunes is; I think it is vastly overrated.
I would play Rock Creek in Fairhope instead of Kiva or instead of Lost Key. It's always in good shape and it's a beautiful course winding through the neighborhood. You could play it on your way back to BR or just make the 45 minute drive from Gulf Shores.
Peninsula is great, Craft Farms is ok; they used to have a problem with gnats, so take your bug spray with you.

My dad was there last week and despite my warning, he played it anyway. Said it was the worst conditioned course he's ever stepped foot on.

ONE Club golf in Gulf Shores; it’s a nine hole course, though. Relatively new community development with a course off Hwy 59.
