I’m looking for a “pure” scorecard app that doesn’t need to use my gps/drain my battery and tracks all my stats like fairways, gir, and putts(and by tracking I mean an app where I input my stats, not one where it auto-logs everything). Y’all have any suggestions? I’m looking through the App Store but it seems that almost every scorecard app is packaged with a gps range finding app.

I use the Grint app but it has a button in the top right for GPS. You don't have to use the GPS function to use the scorecard.

I have the $20 subscription because it contains a GHIN official handicap and basic stats like GIR, Putts, Fairways, hazards, etc.

There is an advanced version that keeps more stats like club selection.

Just use the GHIN app.....

The new one allows you to log hole by hole score with Putts, GIR and Fairways hit

I second the Grint app. I use the basic (free) version. It keeps up with score, fairways, greens, putts, scrambling, etc. As mentioned the GPS is available, but doesn't have to be used.

I use 18 birdies. completely free.

After the hole you put in score, fairway hit, gir, greenside bunker shots, chips and penalties

Not what you may be looking for but I played the Garmin s60 before moving to the Fenix (pricier). Always shot yardage and kept a pocket book to mark scoring so wasn't exactly confident I would like it.

The technology is sound which makes things simple. Gives solid distances quickly, easy to mark score after hole, good playing battery life/excellent normal wear battery life and is comfortable (used to play in a rolex so much lighter).

Sorry if this was a waste of time as your preferences may not align but if it was even a thought I would explore the garmin line of watches.

I also use 18 birdies. Love it. I use it for GPS distance as well. I use the paid version and I plugged in all of my club distances. It pairs that with wind, course elevation, and course conditions to make “club recommendations”. Not perfect obviously but it helps me out.

And now that I’m reading your post again that sounds like it’s not what you want haha. For just score logging I like the GHIN app. It’s clean and minimal. Can just do score input or choose a mode if you want to do more.

Thanks y'all. I'm gonna try out the Grint app tomorrow and see how it goes!
