Public:

Blackhorse - NW Houston
Wildcat - South Houston

I've also heard Memorial is in good shape. Recently redesigned to host the Houston Open in October.

We're leaning at T18 or Meadowbrook Farms.

I play Meadowbrook Farms often... decent track but way over priced

i play it due to convenience.. it's about 8 miles from my house

Depends which part of Houston but if you're close enough to play GCOH then I'd recommend Cypresswood Traditions course

If you’re playing in the next couple weeks, River Oaks is open to the public. Just walk into the clubhouse and they’ll get you off. I believe it’s only $75 w/ cart

LOL.

River oaks was very difficult to get on as a guest of a member the last few months. had to pull a tee time in a lottery.

If you play at Meadowbrook avoid the members and the rough. They are equally shity.

GC of houston

Cypresswood traditions: best value in town, hell of a course. Typically in good to great shape. The cypress course plays like a solid muni.

Black horse: little far from town but a solid course. Hard

The wilderness: far but a great track

Gus: public, a lot of dick slaps but in town and in good shape. Muni

Memorial if you can get one

Tour 18 is a 5 hour round

How nice is it since they renovated? Used to go out there after work sometimes just to get some practice in. Was always in pretty shitty shape, but super cheap.

Tour 18 is fun to play at least once. Get ready for a 5+ hour round tho.

No shite...Didn't know they changed the name..I was there for a conference back in 2011/2012 and got to play the week they shut down for the tournament. There was nobody on the course but 15 or so guys. Loved the track!
