Getting away for the day this weekend, where should I play?
Major hacker. I am sick of Webb and City park.
Should I drive somewhere or play santa maria or copper mill?
Also, whats up with the audobon golf trail out in Livingston?

The Bluffs I heard is playing good right now. Beaver Creek is always a gem. If you wanna drive an hr east I think Oak Harbor in Slidell is a hidden gem no one talks about.

No it's privately owned. Open to the public though. Fun 18 hole layout. Very different than anything around here.

Beaver Creek is a slightly above average layout but it's in really good condition. Bluffs is a really fun layout. A lot of elevation change. I haven't been out there in a few months, but I'd be shocked if it was anywhere close to Beaver Creeks condition. Carter is in Livingston. It's a good layout, touch better than Beaver Creek, imo, but not near The Bluffs. Probably a touch better condition than The Bluffs, maybe.

Carter Plantation and Pelican Point are 2 of the best within 45min of BR imo. The Bluffs is a fun layout and Beaver Creek and Greystone are also really nice and a slight step above Santa Maria usually.

Carter is more entertaining than Pelican for me. Pelican is on par with Santa Maria as far as layout goes.

Greystone will be a challenge if you cant hit something straight off the box. There are enough narrow holes to make you hate your round.

ETA: Bluffs is probably the most enjoyable course for someone who considers themself a "hacker." Great views, range included, and a good mix of difficulty.

Maybe a little further out but Percy Quin is a fun one. I hear it is like the bluffs. Not as good as it once was, but as good once as it ever was.

IF it were only a little closer to BR. I love the Bluffs, regardless of the condition. It's always fun to get out there. Just sucks that it's an hour and a half to a round of golf for travel.

From downtown and already on the Interstate. But, who lives on the Interstate Downtown?
