Nah…just got the day off before my BIL’s wedding Saturday. Hitting up Pelican Point and Le Triomphe later on in the week for some ole boys outings from college.

Just played beaver Saturday for the first time. It’s in great shape.
I wish I would have enjoyed my day more but the group I was playing with didn’t make it easy. The group in front of us just fricking left us behind like we didn’t want to know what they were doing. One of them apparently lived on the course so he knew his way around. Another one of them kept apologizing to this other guy who was hitting it left handed.
We had a little money game in my group and some fricking 6’7” donkey dunks it for eagle on #1 to ruin our whole day before it even gets started. His partner with a swing that would have made jim furyk blush with how he looped it shoots fricking even par. My partner, god bless him, carried my arse around the course blasting Backstreet Boys on the speaker because I couldn’t make a damn putt.
But we did see that group in front of us again on 17 to watch me make bogey and throw away the match while a Marshall came cussing them lower than a dog for hanging out on the golf course too long.
Overall though it was a great day. Nice course

Wow a BREC Marshall saying something about slow play. I'm impressed. Playing Beaver Creek tomorrow, looking forward to it.
