I played it a few years ago after getting a deal on the internet for 50.00 for two. It wasn't terrible but not the pristine course I remembered when it was in good shape. Loved that track.

Just left. 2 and 3 are trash. Overall, tee boxes are fair, bunkers are crap. Fairways are decent. Routing is fantastic. 9, 17 and 18 are fantastic. Really good par 3s. Paid like $44. Cartpaths crap. Had a good time though, glad I made the drive

Hopefully they can get things back up and running again in 2019

Did you go low on 9?

Anyone know how the vote went?

Went left on 9, hit a tree. Left me way too far out. Hit layup too far into that valley. Blind 6iron to 10ft and missed.
Routine par, lol

Forgot to add... greens were firm, probably running 10ish.

It's never been worth it for me to drive past beaver creek to go play the bluffs. I know some people hate BREC and justifiably so (looking at you Dumas and City park) but for some reason they do a really good job with Beaver.

At one point, it was the exact opposite sentiment.
If I was going all the way to Beaver or Copper Mill, I was driving to The Bluffs.

They do an ok to good job with Beaver. People are just conditioned to accept mediocre golf around here. There are plenty of times where Beaver doesn't have sand in bunkers and fairways and rough are crap. No Marshalls and plenty of other things not done really good.

Played it last Saturday. Greens were receptive and running about 5.

Has anyone been to the Bluffs recently? The course sounds intriguing.

Played a scramble today. Hole 2(former par5) is a shell of its former self. It’s about a 300yd par 4 now. Fairways were bare in spots. Greens rolled pretty well. There were a few spots in fairways and on the greens that were really poor. Overall, I’d say it was not as bad as what I was expecting. It’s worth a drive for a change of pace, depending on what they are charging. The layout currently makes up for the less than stellar conditions.
