Im gonna snag some new irons in the next couple of months and I love the look of these and they have rave reviews across the board.
Anyone here game these or know someone who does?
I love the look of these things, have never played anything Wilson golfwise.
I have not bought Irons in 12 years.

everyone loves these irons, took home my golf spy most wanted, not that its the end all be all but its something of note.
People who play Wilsons swear by them.

I love the looks of them and I have hit them into the net and they felt solid.
Now would I buy them, I believe that I would buy a set of Srixon's or Mizuno's first and of course I am a Ping homer.
Years ago, I had a set of Wilson Goose Neck irons and they were awesome. Played them for a couple of years.
If you plan on keeping them a long while, I see no reason not to get them.
If you are a Club Ho like me that wants to trade every couple of years, then you will lose your shirt with the Wilsons.

Rick Shiels had them in his bag. He said the were a solid club.
If I had a better game, I would definitely have the V6 in the bag...they are some gorgeous clubs.

Im actually opposite, I keep clubs for a long time.
I have not bought a driver since 2010 before I bought the Tour Edge Nitro EXS, a putter since 2004.
But Im about to flip my entire bag over.

Yea Shiels loved them, I saw that video.
I was worried to hard to hit but Wilson says a Mid Handicap could hit them.

They are sweet! I think a mid-handicapper could play them. Get the right shaft.

I hit them...I have a hybrid set with v6 forged as 3-7 and blades for 8-W..I love them and hit them so well. I had AP2s prior to that and these are superior in my opinion.

Then I say go for it. Picking the right shaft is a must.
Find a demo to try if available. DGS, Nippon and KBS are great shafts. I have moved into the 105 gram weight shafts, I fell like I can feel the head better and I play a 1/2 long.
I am currently using the KBS Tour 105 shafts and I love them.
Have fun updating your bag. There are some great options out there in woods and putters.
Ping and TaylorMade have the easiest to hit fairway woods in my opinion.
Flow neck putters seem to be the rage these days. I move back and forth between a flow neck and a centershafted putter.
Drivers are a whole different animal these days. Finding one that fits your eye and gives you the proper spin rates can be challenging.
I re-made my bag last fall and I am starting to get a little itchy.

I finally hit the V6 and then I tried the D7s and holy shite the D7s were incredible. Feel was awesome.
V6s felt good but I prefered the D7s.
Anyone who has not hit a Wilson Iron needs to check them out.
Wilson might also make the prettiest MB out there right now

what! that site kicks arse man, I love it.

Those D7s are some beautiful sticks .
I believe that Woodland is playing those muscle backs.
Please do a review after you play a few rounds with them.

Bop I thought about getting graphite shafts in these new irons when I pull the trigger, thoughts on graphite in irons?
Posted on 7/13/20 at 9:38 pm to CBandits82
Not sure what they offer.
I am really impressed with the Recoil Graphite shafts and some companies offer them stock.
Accra makes great iron shafts but the are pricey.
I suggest hitting several weights if you can. Some proprietary graphite shafts have a lot of torque in them, so you have to be careful.
Big difference in 80 grams Recoils and 105 Recoils. Really depends on you swingspeed.
