Start hitting the old one great right before you get to use the new one?

I haven’t hit my driver worth a shite in 2 months. I basically convinced myself that I couldn’t hit the damn thing. I went to the range today to hit my driver one last time before I fully commit to the new M5 I ordered from Callaway Pre-Owned. Of course I freaking smashed it. I was working it left and right with no issues. My only swing thoughts were to keep good rhythm and keep my head still. I guess I’ll hold off on hitting the M5 this weekend, and see how I hit the driver on the course. Im hoping it translates so I can return the new one to Callaway.

Just got a brand new Nike Vapor Fly 4 iron with steel shaft (found it on eBay form Dallas Golf). frick that club...keeping the Cally Apex 4 iron with recoil shaft.

Anyone want to buy the Nike Vapor...hit it 2 times and immediately took it out of the bag.

I have Mizuno St180 with a Tensei White 70 X shaft. I convinced myself I couldn’t hit it until yesterday happened. Ordered the HZRDUS 6.0 shaft on the M5 hoping for a tad more flex.

I’m hoping I have turned a corner on the Mizuno. I really like the feel of the club. Just need some consistency.

Why not go get fitted?

I was originally fitted for the Mizuno. I’ve just had a few swing changes since then.

I don’t feel like spending $100 somewhere to go get fitted now. I got a used M5 in like new condition for $280 before trade in. After trade in it’ll be $230 if I decide to keep it. Im just not willing to spend $400-$600 on a fitting and new club.

Nothing worse than hitting that “new” club and getting a shank lol. It usually take a few rounds or practice session to understand the difference between the old and new club.

I bought a new Srixon driving iron and started Pounding the hybrid.

Anybody want a driving iron?
