I see advertising for them everywhere, they've got good reviews and seemed to hold their own in side by side comparisons to ProV1's

I do. I play the Pro V1 equivalent and I like it. It's tough to tell the difference.

Been out of it the last few years with new gear.

I'm looking at the Cut golf balls right now in another tab. They have a 4 piece that seems to be similar to the Pro V1x and a 3 piece similar to the Pro V1 and they are 20 a dozen starting at 1 dozen. Thought they seemed interesting and never heard of them.

I've also looked at the Vice balls, I like you can get some colors in all models.

My wife got me some a year or so ago. I found the feel to be similar to ProV1. I play the Bridgestone B330RX.

For whatever reason, I found the Vice balls to be a half to 3/4 club shorter than the ProV1 or B330. I just found that to be more than I was willing to sacrifice.

I tend to not trust data publish by companies selling the product being tested.

With that said, I have played the Vice Pro Plus and it is a decent ball. I would compare it more to the NXT Tour S.

Its data from an independent 3rd party.

My theory is that if you have 99% of golfers blank balls, they couldn't tell the difference between similar tiered golf balls.

I had some one put them down on the green, logo out, and I couldn't tell it from the pro v. If I played on Sunday or super competitively, maybe.
