Looking for a club in between my 4 iron and 3 wood
My set of clubs doesn’t have a 3 iron for purchase, they stop at 4, and I would much rather a lower lifted iron like a 3 iron than a 5 wood.
Anybody use a driving iron? Been thinking of getting one of these for windy days, if my driver isn’t working that great etc.

I use the Ping G Crossover 3-Iron. It came out in 2016 I think. Probably my favorite club in the bag. It hits low penetrating bullets which I love. It's a little bigger than a regular iron but smaller than a hybrid.

I have the jpx921 irons so I might give the mizuno one a try
I didn’t think I needed one but I find myself at least once a round wishing I had something in between 3wood and 4 iron

I always drive with my 9. It’s a glock 19 gen 5 and definitely recommend it or a Springfield. Solid compact irons to keep while driving. I get great shots even in the wind

PXG 0311X driving irons are good, just didn’t fit the gap between my 4 iron and 20 hybrid as I hit it as far as my hybrid in the 2 iron but not as high. Feel and distance was good though…

I was the same, I had a huge gap between my 4 iron (220yds) and 3 wood (260yds) so I played a hybrid for a little while but found that the 2 iron gives me a better shot shaping abillity over the hybrid and still have the ability to get it out there 240 yards.

I've got the U500 2-iron bent a degree weak. It is a total weapon in my bag.
