I believe you can also join the “Hole in One” Level of Swinging Mike Club (TAF Booster) for $1000 & get two golf head covers, as well as hat, polo, belt, and much more

Yes, Swinging Mike Club would be better option. Wish I had the extra $1000.

Charge normal price for all this impossible to buy gear and LSU would generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.

I was thinking the same thing. I feel the same way about some of the gear for football and basketball that is not available to the public. Obviously, they have smarter people than me running their marketing and merchandising. I would be interested to hear the argument that holding these items back earns more money for the program through fund raising than simply selling them like normal.
I would probably buy a new swinging Mike hat every year and wear the thing out, but I'm not donating $1k to get it.

This is LSU, not smarter people than you. The primary argument is allowing the coaches and players to have special theirs only gear. Horrible idea in this era of maximizing any revenue stream. No player or coach isn’t coming to LSU because we sell their merch to the public.
